Fulfilled Dreams
With the help of our good friends David and Shay Ellis at Wind Song Charters, Outdoor Dreams was able to fulfill Casey’s dream of salmon fishing the Pacific Ocean, and what an experience he had!
Casey spent the day near Cape Flattery, WA with his mom Shawna, fishing for salmon, lingcod, and sea bass, and what a memorable adventure it turned out to be! It warms my heart to hear about the big smile on Casey’s face as he reeled in around 15 fish, including some tasty King salmon. One of the highlights of the trip was finally seeing the Cape Flattery lighthouse, which has always been a bucket list item for him.
David Ellis, along with his son Maverick as the deckhand, showed incredible generosity with their time, expertise, and compassion. They made the trip exciting and unforgettable.
We can’t thank David and Shay enough for volunteering their time and making this dream come true for Casey. Please consider booking a fishing trip with Wind Song Charters. They will go out of their way to make your fishing trip an experience of a lifetime.
Casey has faced great adversity the last few years and it’s nice to see him doing something he loves. We feel confident this adventure has strengthened his passion for the outdoors.
I hope you enjoyed Casey’s story and the pictures from his adventure. I also hope this motivates you to consider giving back to get more deserving children into the outdoors. We could not do this without our donors and volunteers! Thank you to everyone who has given to make this possible and for those who have helped us get to this point. This is one of many lives we will change for the better.
