It is with incredible pride that I have the opportunity to tell you about Nick and his first successful elk hunt. Nick spent a total of 7 days with Outdoor Dreams’ President & Founder Conlan McConnell and board member Tino Villaluz chasing elk in Western Washington, and eventually was able to pull the trigger on a tasty cow. Nick executed a perfect shot at just over 100 yards and his elk was down in less than 20 yards. This extraordinary experience is one that Nick will remember for the rest of his life and thankfully he has the video to prove his fine shooting. 

Outdoor Dreams’ couldn’t have found a more deserving child to help. Nick is an incredible young man who brings joy to everyone around him with his positive outlook, engaging personality, willingness to learn, and excitement for the hunt. Nick loves being the provider for his mom and brother, and this tasty cow allowed him to fill the family’s freezer. And with the help of his baseball coach Chris, Nick was able to butcher, grind, and package his elk on his own.
